dun dun dun

first off, my name is kat. my 'online name' is stardrifter, or just star ;P. im a 27 year old canadian gal, living just outside of toronto, ontario. i enjoy anime, video games, long walks on the beach, reading and writing, movies and those sorts of shenanigans. books i like are the wheel of time by robert jordan, memoirs of a geisha by arthur golden, and i love the harry potter series too <3. my favorite video games include ffxii, katamari damacy, kingdom hearts, world of warcraft, and various final fantasys. my favorite anime.... well i have a lot of favorites. it's pretty obvious that i'm quite fond of flcl, but some other favorites include fushigi yugi, ghost in the shell, trigun, kare kano, slayers, urusei yatsura, evangelion saiyuki, azumanga daioh and full metal panic. my anime collection consists of over 250 different titles (including downloaded fansubs, which the dvds greatly outnumber i assure you >.>), but i havent watched it all yet... i'm getting really close now though ;P.

flictonic.net is spawned from an incredible need for me to express my love of anime and flcl to the general public. it also comes from a promise i made to myself to make a website that doesnt look horrible. i really like how this one turned out. few things about the site in general though.. i have to keep going over this, because it will be when i dont that they will come forward... i didnt make the main layout pic. if you did.. leave a message in my guestbook and i will credit you for it. everyone can use pictures you find on my page for your own sites, but please give credit to me because those took a long time to scan. also, do not remote post from my page because it makes baby jesus cry. please try imageshack or please use your own webspace. all the piccys i used on this page were used with permission from whoever scanned/capped them which was mostly me anyways. i think thats it... oh yeah and my email addy isnt on here anywhere because last time i put it on here i somehow woke up one day with like 25 thousand junkmails in my inbox and it just got too hard to sort >.>; i do check the guestbook so if you'd like to contact me that's probably a good way to try. bye ^_^
